NCI suspends users if their re-certification is overdue. Once the re-certification period has lapsed, the accounts enter the ‘suspension’ state and all project memberships for that user are suspended as well. If the re-certification is not completed after a certain time, their accounts enter a ‘deactivated’ state.

If your account is up for re-certification, log into my.nci.org.au and follow the wizard to complete the re-certification. If you have any trouble with your account, for e.g. you’ve forgotten your password, then email the NCI helpdesk at helpdesk@nci.org.au.

If the Lead CI has a suspended account …

If the RSO system records show that the Lead CI of the project has not re-certified their account with NCI, then the project will be marked as ‘inactive’ in our database and the Lead CI will no longer receive email notifications to apply for compute time or participate in the mid-quarter review. Please ensure that the Lead CI has an active account at all times.
